Tanjong Pagar United F.C. is pleased to announce the signing of Singapore striker Masrezwan Masturi.

Masrezwan is the third and last player to be signed from Home United after Firdaus Idros and Nor Azli Yusoff.

“I am very proud and happy to join Tanjong Pagar United this season,” Masrezwan told tpufc.org. Masrezwan will be donning the number 17 jersey for the 2014 season and will likely play in his natural and favourite striker position.

“With this year’s squad, I believe we are able to fight for honors this season.”

“First of all I need to get to understand how the club works and get to know my new teammates more. As a professional, that is not much of a problem. But I need to settle down and give the best I can during training and match days.”

“Personally, I felt that there is something special in the coach…how he had transformed TPUFC and brought the club to the RHB Singapore Cup final last season. He has told me he wants to deploy me in my natural position which is a striker. He has shown me his faith, now I have to ensure I work hard to repay that faith.”
