The second part of short web series, “Cover Stories” brings us to the very first issue of “RED WHITE”.

After the publication of “JAGUARS”, Team Manager Satiman Saim suggested that the Official Match Programme should have a more unique name, while being closely related to the club. Hence the name “RED WHITE” was suggested by him.

Fortunately, three games between the Home United game and Woodlands Wellington game allowed the marketing department to make improvements to the OMP, and on 11 April 2013, the very first issue of “RED WHITE” was published.

Jaguars defender Hanafi Salleh was featured as the cover picture, as well as in “Up Close“, the player feature with club journalist Ong Jiing Yih providing the writeup.

The match eventually ended 1-1, with Jaguars striker Monsef Zerka scoring a late equalizer to cancel out an earlier goal by Woodlands.

This first issue of “RED WHITE” is currently the only issue that has gone out of print.
