Despite having Sazali Salleh forced out due to a hamstring pull in the early minutes of the game, the Jaguars, playing with only one foreigner for almost the entire game was able to secure a point at Bedok Stadium. Ruzaini Zainal scored to put the Jaguars ahead early in the restart but Geylang International equalized in the dying minutes to force a draw.
