Since joining Tanjong Pagar United in 2012, Zahid Ahmad has been one of the most senior while at the same time, one of the fittest players in the squad.

Despite being a natural fullback, Zahid has been deployed in most defensive positions by Vallee in the 2013 campaign. His no-nonsense display has also seen the captain’s armband trusted to him when skipper Hafiz Osman and former vice-captain Walid Lounis was out due to injury and suspension.

The 2014 S.League season will be Zahid’s third year with the Jaguars, and let us all wish him Happy Birthday and many happy returns!
