Joining the Jaguars midway through the 2012 season, Anthony Aymard quickly made himself a fan favourite with his tough fighting mentality and never say die attitude. Enjoying his time with the Jaguars under the leadership of Patrick Vallee, Aymard paid tribute to the coach's philosophy.

“Since the first game of the RHB Singapore Cup, we had only been playing against foreign clubs. It is a good experience to see other football clubs from Cambodia and Philippines. Most of the game we played were at Jalan Besar Stadium and I have to say we like to play on that pitch,” Aymard told tpufc.org.

“On the cup final, I really want to win it for the Club because everyone in the team had worked very hard since the start of the season last December. We also want to win it for Sazali and Hafiz O who had a difficult season because of their injuries.

When I played for Etoile in 2011, we lost to Home United in the semi-final, so this time round, I will go all out and win it.”

“This season, I think the coach brought a different mentality of working and of football. You can see from the results and also the attitude of the team and for the win. For me, this is the Winning Mentality and the coach has brought this into the Club.”
