Tanjong Pagar United Football Club today agreed a 1-year cash sponsorship deal worth with Field Catering & Supplies Pte Ltd, one of Singapore’s established food and beverage companies.

Field Catering will be using one of their brands, SINGA the energy drink to front the sponsorship deal. The partnership with Field Catering is set to give the Jaguars the added support to stamp their mark amongst one of the top clubs in the S.League following their bright start to the Great  Eastern-YEO’s S.League 2013 season.

Field Catering was the Jaguars’ club sponsor in its first S.League season in 1996, when they were known as Tiong Bahru United Football Club. Field Catering eventually became a sponsor for the S.League in 2003, with the distribution of Polar Natural Mineral Water.

Mr Chew Thye Chuan, Managing Director of Field Catering & Supplies Pte Ltd said, “Field Catering has been a very generous and a strong supporter of the S.League with its sponsorship of Polar Natural Mineral Water for more than a decade, and we would like to extend our support by sponsoring Tanjong Pagar United FC with our NEW energy drink SINGA. We have chosen the Jaguars as the club’s main sponsor because of our good relations and our early ties with the club. We remain committed to grow with Singapore football and we foresee this will be a great partnership which we will endeavour for a long time.”

Mr Edward Liu, Chairman of Tanjong Pagar United FC said, “We are definitely ecstatic to have Field Catering on board as our main sponsor for this S.League season. This partnership will motivate us to mount a greater challenge among the best teams as we mark our return to the S.League. It also signifies the confidence Field Catering has in us, and we look forward to an extensive partnership with one of Singapore’s most established F&B companies. We will continue to strive for more companies to join our quest to further promote the sport.”

S.League’s Chief Executive Officer, Lim Chin expressed his delight at the new deal. He said, “This announcement represents another jubilant occasion for the S.League and especially for Tanjong Pagar United FC. We are absolutely thrilled to have Field Catering extend its generosity beyond the sponsorship of POLAR water to S.League to the new sponsorship of the Jaguars. I like to personally thank Mr Chew and Field Catering for their staunch support of S.League and Singapore football for more than ten solid good years and look forward to many, many more good years.”
