An elbow from Tampines Rovers striker Noh Alam Shah struck Jaguars defender Anthony Aymard on the face yesterday which left the latter lying on the ground for sometime.

First aid personnels on location later applied nursing onto Aymard’s left eye which had suffered from an open cut as a result of the elbow.

Aymard was then sent to the hospital after the game, where he received eight stitches to the top of his left eye.
