Despite having to hang on for slightly more than half an hour with just 10 men after a harsh red card on Masrezwan, the Jaguars never gave up and almost scored on a few occasions. The match on Thursday also saw Jaguars anchorman Sazali Salleh’s return to the pitch after being out for almost nine months due to injury.

Sazali put in a performance which looked nothing like a player who had just returned from injury, winning 44% of his tackles made. The best defensive performer on the pitch however, goes to Nor Azli Yusoff who won 71% of his tackles.

While the Jaguars continue to miss Kamel Ramdani due to injury, the team managed to account for 447 passes out of which 355 were completed. Attacking midfielder Sebastien Etiémble had a lively game, completing 82% of his passes.
