Turning 28 today, Shamsudin Hashim is one of the most agile goalkeepers around.

Memorable moments includes saving a penalty shot from Home United towards the end of the 2012 season at Bishan Stadium.

Shamsudin stepped up to protect the Jaguars goal in late 2012 when fellow custodian Fajar Sarib was out due to injury. In 2013, Shamsudin also stepped up to keep the goal when Aurelien Herisson was suspended.

One fact that not many would know is that Shamsudin’s name was the first on coach Vallee’s local players retain list when he planned the 2012 squad, signifying how much the club values Shamsudin.
